Note: this is what happens when Photography and Rum mix.
As the big day draw near my excitement grows, and we get spread thinner and thinner. Excitement and stress are running parallels, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I see the finish line and I know we’ll get there one way or another. This week is pretty full between meeting decorators, photographers, and the venue, there is a lot to do. I am so looking forward to the weekend, we might be able to squeeze in a beer or two under the sun (a patio perhaps!). But I digress, I can’t wait to see everyone all dolled up and ready to celebrate! See you soon!

Wow! we’re on the home stretch here. Genevieve has her dress and jewelery, I hear she looks amazing! My tux is all good to go! Right now all the little details are being ironed out, lots to do but we’re getting close. Just to let you all know there will be a shuttle with a pick up and two night time drop offs at both hotels. I will post more details by the weekend.

Thank you so much to Aunt Peg and Uncle Bill for hosting our co-ed bridal bbq with the Brains on Saturday. We had a great time and some good food! We also would like to thank everyone for the wonderful ifts. We really appeciate it!
Today I moved to our new apartment in Toronto! Its a cozy little place so we’ll have to have you all over in shifts. I’m off to catch some zzz, talk to you all soon!

Well I guess we’ve been pretty fortunate thus far but all things must cease. Up until now we haven’t had any hiccups or set backs in our wedding planning. Perhaps there have been a few squabbles, disagreements and foot stomps but nothing that wasn’t overcome with a bit of pleading/a cup of tea/good old fashion groveling.
Enter Canada Post.
I have no explanation for what occurred, other than some unkind mail sorter just wanted to toy with us. Last week I took 100 plus invitations over to the trusty big red mail box and sent them on their merry way, hoping to have them arrive in all your hands. Although the majority of the invites reached their destination a select few, an elite group we’re returned to us, about five of them. Why would this happen? Apparently these five and only these five out of a group of 100+ identical invitations were overweight. These obese little packages were a whopping 7 grams over the limit, thus needing more postage.
So I apologize to those who receive the battered envelopes with the giant non-colour coordinated stamp. Je m’excuse.

Wow, what a day.
Thank you SO much for the surprise shower last saturday! I thought I was going to be watching friends all evening. I got so many great gifts, and I just want to say thank you to everyone that came. I’ll have to take a picture of my mountain of stuff and post it on here, along with the beautiful hat (complete with veil!) that the very creative Clare constructed. Special thanks to Aunt Nirmala, Mira, Clare, Amber and Nadia for all their hard work.
