How do you know the Bride and Groom?: Adam is a an old friend and I met Gen at College when they first started dating.

Favorite Memory: When Adam first told me about Gen and how smitten he was. He could not stop smiling, I thought his face was going to be frozen like that forever.

Jason Brain

Position: Groomsman

How do you know the Bride and Groom?: Adam is my younger, taller, more handsome, bigger brother.

Favorite Memory: One of my favorite memories is when somehow our phone called Gen’s place without us knowing, and Gen heard an entire conversation between me and my brother trying to remember how to speak french to each other. We were like.. “do you hear something?” and it was coming from the phone on the table.. ” hiiiii guys!! Helloooo?? I hear you??!

Tyler Gailits

Position: Groomsman/purveyor of good times and gluttonous enthusiast of fine ales.

How do you know the Bride and Groom?: The intense mid-durham underground indie/punk scene and the relationships it spawned.

Favorite Memory: Learning how to play dashboard songs on carmella while watching the diaper vipers place 2nd in the skid ridge sandpit volleyball tournament.

Adam Walhout a.k.a. Hoet/Willhoot

Position: Groomsman.

How do you know the Bride and Groom?: Played Scugog Minor Baseball on Dollar Plus with the groom coached by Bobby Orr’s cousin and almost got in a couple of Port Perry street fights in the ensuing years. All ended up OK in the end, however.

Favorite Memory: Met the bride at a pool hall/dance club in Oshawa; witnessed the groom’s lame pick-up attempts. All ended up OK in the end, however.

Cole Glendinning

Position: groomsmen (I think Adam really wants me there for the protection, just in case he slips up or hits “bottom”)

How do you know the Bride and Groom?: I know Adam from high school…and then we lived together, it didn’t work out, so now he has found someone that will willingly live under the same roof!

Favorite Memory: Not too long after Adam and Gen had been dating, we went to WARPED TOUR …. we had a pretty awesome day , then it rained, and we were wet, but we had a darn fine day, that day sticks out as a memory! I had a feeling that after that day of Punk Rocking, and raining and possibly a few bevvy’s that Adam and Gen would be together and happy for some time, I could tell in adam’s beaming smile that he was truly in love!
